Chefs from 150 of Atlanta’s top restaurants are paired with the area’s best farms to create a tasting event you won’t want to miss. Plus, a silent auction and cake raffle featuring delectable, one-of-a-kind creations from some of the city’s best pastry chefs.

Global Growers Network and our partner, the City of Decatur, are excited to present Higher Ground: A Meaningful Feast, formerly known as Decatur’s Dinner Party. This highly-anticipated culinary celebration highlights fresh local produce and features talented chefs from across the city. It returns to the Historic Decatur Cemetery for one last time before moving to Legacy Park in 2020.

This annual fundraiser is more important this year than ever before. In April 2019, floodwater inundated our flagship Bamboo Creek Farm, wiping out the majority of our wholesale operation and leaving five refugee farmers with an uncertain future.

At Higher Ground, learn how we are recovering and accelerating our plans to build a larger, more resilient agriculture system that can serve as a model across Atlanta and beyond. Join old friends and make new ones over a decadent family-style, multi-course meal paired with a unique range of libations, and bid on special experiences and products in a live and silent auction.

The South's favorite chefs are getting out of the kitchen and into the spotlight for Southern Chefs Potluck, a Sunday supper celebrating the 10th anniversary of Wholesome Wave Georgia on September 15th at our new location at The Foundry at Puritan Mill.

Local chefs will bring their favorite dishes to complement a whole hog roast from Jim N Nicks Bar-B-Q. You will dine in style while enjoying live music and mingling with chefs and farmers in our new location on Atlanta’s popular Westside.

In addition to good food and fellowship, the celebration will feature local beer, wine, and cocktails prepared and served by renowned mixologists, plus silent and live auctions for one-of a-kind gifts and experiences.

James Beard award-winning chef and founder of Wholesome Wave Michel Nischan will be recognized as Special Guest of Honor, and Wholesome Wave Georgia co-founders Judith Winfrey and Kate Barney will serve as Honorary Co-chairs.

Slow Food Atlanta's 13th Annual Ice Cream Social, in collaboration with Peachtree Road Farmers Market, is Atlanta's coolest and sweetest summer tradition.

This year we'll be as cool as Ice Cream - The Ice Cream Social is INSIDE Child Hall at The Cathedral of St. Philip!

On Saturday, August 24th, 1:00-2:30pm, the 13th annual mouth-watering Ice Cream Social has local chefs and ambitious amateurs - all partnering with local farmers and working together to create unique and flavorful ice cream. Farmers+ Chefs = Better Together.

Advance Tickets are $20 for adults, $5 for children (5 & over) and include an all-access pass to each and every flavor! Kids 4 and under are free. This event is open to everyone - so bring a spoon and enjoy good, old-fashioned summertime fun! Kid Friendly!

The Athens Chefs Collaboration presented by US Foods combines elegance, beer excellence and a chef-driven, family-style meal to turn the Creature Comforts Brewing Co. taproom into a premier fine-dining establishment for one night only.  

It's truly an amazing sight to see so many chefs come together to create this one-of-a-kind dinner paired with your favorite CCBC beers, all because they care about helping their fellow food service workers.

Hosted by our friends at Creature Comforts, 100% of the proceeds of this dinner support Giving Kitchen (GK), a nonprofit organization that provides emergency assistance to food service workers through financial support and a network of community resources in order to create a community where crisis is met with compassion and care, and anyone can be a hero. Since its inception, GK has helped over 2,800 food service workers in Georgia. GK’s shift starts when theirs can’t.

Grant Wallace at Morning Side Farmers Market

CHEF POPUP ALERT! This weekend, Grant Wallace of @thedeerandthedove, will be serving up some seriously tasty food and drinks (locally inspired of course!). In addition to providing craft drinks and food at The Deer and the Dove, you should also know that Grant is the owner of Grant Wallace Farm, a rolling field in Conyers that is covered with aromatic herbs and edible flowers. After hearing about the farm, we had to take a visit.

While many of Grant's herbs are used by chefs around the city, Grant actually transforms many of his herbs into hydrosols, which are botanical waters that contain the essence of the plant. When you distill fresh plant material using a steam process, you're left with aromatic water that can be used for culinary/and or medicinal purposes.

Just think, a spritz of fresh parsley hydrosol on your next salad. Or a misting of cinnamon basil hydrosol on an Old Fashioned cocktail. Or a rose hydrosol on your face to tone and improve your skin's health!

Grant will have hydrosols available for purchase this weekend! Be sure to say hello to Grant, and definitely grab some of his delicious food and drinks.
